National Homemade Bread Day: Make healthy banana bread with this easy 5-step recipe

This healthy banana bread recipe will enrich your health with vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients. The banana used in this recipe provides you with potassium and vitamin B6 which are good for your heart health. Also the whole wheat flour used is rich in dietary fiber, iron and various types of vitamin B.
How to make healthy banana bread at home?
Manjiri Mestry, a food blogger, shared the recipe of banana bread through her Instagram handle and wrote, “This recipe will give you a soft, fruity somewhere between a bread and a cake. It’s a great recipe with no sugar, no egg, and uses whole wheat flour.” Let’s take a look at her recipe!
1/3 cup jaggery
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp lime juice
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Take 2 ripe bananas, peel them and mash them in a bowl. Add the milk, oil and lime juice to it and blend everything together using a hand blender.
Take another bowl, put a sieve on it and add whole wheat flour, jaggery powder, baking soda, baking powder. Sieve all the ingredients and mix them well.
Add some crushed chocolate and nuts to this mixture. You can totally skip this step or add dark chocolate for some health benefits.
Now mix the dry and wet ingredients. Mix them using a whisker, so that no lumps are left.
Bake this mixture for 30 minutes at 180 degree celcius and your banana bread is ready!
