1. Level up your liquid intake
“Stay hydrated!” You must have heard this a gazillion times because this is totally non-negotiable. The expert says, “Drink at least a minimum of 2-3 liters of water daily. Amidst your busy schedule, keep a water sipper or bottle handy all the time. You may also add some lemon water without sugar, coconut water, vegetables and fruits that have more water content.”

According to Kaul, you must eat a colourful plate of nutrition. One must not avoid carbohydrates. Keep away from simple carbohydrates and include complex carbohydrates in your diet such as whole grain wheat, ragi, oats, brown bread, etc. Have more salads, protein, and green vegetables in your diet. You may also include lentils such as rajma, chickpeas, etc. Lentils are a good source of protein and also have plenty of minerals. Incorporate more green leafy vegetables as they are packed with antioxidants. A rainbow diet can add a natural glow to brides-to-be.
3. Keep away from white foods
If possible, try to avoid white-coloured foods like maida, white flour, white rice and even sugar! One of the most important pre-wedding tips, this will help you in weight loss as well as reduce any feeling of bloating.
